Kickstarter is a great way to get your project ideas in the presence of others. Now more than ever, you can put your project ideas in the hands of other people with new mobile application Kickstarter. Maybe you are looking to get a project funded, or maybe you like to finance innovative projects, or even if you just enjoy watching other people’s ideas creators, the mobile application is a new more convenient way to you discover Kickstarter. Users will now be able to easily access all that Kickstarter has to offer, directly from your iPhone.
Surprisingly, this is the first application created to Kickstarter, although the company has been around for nearly four years. While the application is currently only available for the iPhone, it is not hard to imagine that it could be available for other devices sometime in the future. The new app is free and can be downloaded from the App Store. For those not familiar with Kickstarter, it is a website crowdsourcing funding that allows users to raise funds for the proposed projects. Fundraising goals for the project are defined in the quantity desired by the user. Like many traditional funding models, donors give money, usually in exchange for goods which are given in proportion to the amount of money promised by the lessor. Many projects exceed their fundraising goals, with some recent campaigns even managed to raise millions of dollars through Kickstarter.
The new mobile application allows users to obtain updates directly from the creators of projects they support. The application also provides the ability to watch videos on the project. The application provides more convenience for the project leaders well, as they can now upload videos directly from the project via the mobile application. The new application of Kickstarter, it’s easier than ever to bring innovative projects in production.
