The latest version of God of War is now available for pre-order and should reach retail shelves March 12. God of War: Ascension, created by Santa Monica Studios and Sony Computer Entertainment, will be available exclusively on PS3 and PS Vita.

The Game Intro

Ascension serves as prequel to the series GOW whole mythology. This third-person action / adventure game is a hack and dramatic thriller that begins with a slash drama filled film. Striking theatrical effects allow you to see the human side of Kratos that you look into the mythological past and the experience of the struggle of his imprisonment and the details of his past sins.

Multiplayer

Similar to the previous God of War games, Ascension is still focused on combo-based combat, playable in single player mode as before. However, this new version also included a multiplayer mode that allows up to 8 players from each team up or play solo. Teams or individuals will fight competitively to take control of the divine rewards card.

Pre-orders

Sony has prepared pre-order packages that are now available. The pack includes the Champions mythological Heroes Multiplayer DLC Pack, King Leonidas “300″ Multiplayer DLC armor and spear. Players will also receive a 22 “x28″ God of War double sided poster Ascension, and will generate more XP (experience points) for the first 48 hours of gameplay in real time.
For the God of war junkies, or perhaps for those who are looking to buy a new console, you can now pre-order pack Legacy. This package includes the new game with all the Ascension God of War I-III, GOW, Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta. Are also included in the pack is the Legacy PS3 garnet red with a huge hard drive 500bg.
