To encourage the activity easier to use and expenditures, Amazon announced Wednesday that it would be introducing a virtual currency called Amazon Coins. Kindle Fire users can expect free coins in May, as Amazon gives tens of millions of dollars of coins during the launch of the currency. Amazon is hoping that these currencies encourage users to try new applications, be satisfied with their purchases and in turn generate more revenue through Kindle Fire.
